The European Commission has launched a new expert group with the mission to tackle disinformation and promote digital literacy. The group was launched on 12 October by Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel.
Tasked with the mission to, “assist the Commission in the preparation of comprehensive guidelines for teachers and education on tackling disinformation and promoting digital literacy through education and training”, the group is made up of 25 experts and four international partners.
